From sketch to execution
THE PROJECT.
THE CHALLENGE
Launch a new tournament at the championships that celebrates women, non-binary throwers, and other marginalized genders while creating an identity that feels powerful, inclusive, and distinctly its own. The graphics needed to capture the energy of competition and community without relying on faces or full-body imagery
THE APPROCH
Built the visual direction around the “Giant Slayer” nickname that inspired the series. Explored strength, movement, competition, and community through bold graphic elements, creating a visual language that could tell athletes’ stories while representing the crowd and the excitement of the championship.
THE SOLUTION
Developed a cohesive graphic system that brings the Slayer Series to life across championship graphics, promotional materials, and event applications. The result is a bold and inclusive identity that celebrates the athletes, the crowd, and the energy of the sport—without defining who belongs through individual faces or bodies.
Following a visual identity through all deliverables
